メラン (Mélin)

住居がこの土地でとれる白い石ゴベルタンジュ(Gobertange)で建てた、丘の上に佇む村。教会を中心に村が寄り添い、道からは素晴らしい景色が望める。大小の農場が残す、19世紀の面影。 Gobertangeはルーヴェンの市庁舎、メッヘレンの大聖堂、ブリュッセルのサン・ミッシェル大聖堂や市庁舎の改修の際にも用いられた。
